Members elected to serve Shieldhill on Falkirk Council

  • Voters in Shieldhill went to the polls on Thursday 3rd May

Voters in Shieldhill took the chance to have their say on local issues this week, to elect new local representatives to serve on Falkirk Council as Scotland went to the polls in local elections.

After all the votes had been counted, the following candidates were elected to serve as councillors for the Upper Braes ward for the next five years.

Gordon Hughes – SNP
John McLuckie – Labour
Rosie Murray - Labour

The full results for all wards are still being confirmed at the time of writing, but you can find vote totals, and the final make up of the council here on the Falkirk Council website.
